Goose Island News: California Bound
In September we traveled to Ventura for my 60th High School reunion; then to San Francisco to catch up with daughter Jessie and husband Jon; and on to Morro Bay for a fantastic three day watercolor retreat with a cohort of 40 fellow artists studying under David J. Rogers.

Goose Island News: Pre-Christmas 2023
For much of July, our Goose family has been taking wing and flying off to other parts of Loudoun County, Virginia for days at a time. Until early August they’d been gone for a week. Now they are back for a while.
These photos were taken mostly in May. Now in June, the six surviving “babies” are “teenagers.” They have all their feathers and markings and are beginning to flex their flight muscles during land and water calisthenics.
